Jamie Stuck – Ex-Officio
Jamie Stuck is a Central Michigan University graduate and has been an elected official of the Nottawaseppi Huron Band of the Potawatomi (NHBP) since 2006. He was recently appointed Tribal Council Chairman and serves as the Ex-Officio Board Member of the Waséyabek Development Company, LLC. Mr. Stuck chairs the FireKeepers Development Authority Board, which operates and manages the FireKeepers Casino Hotel in Battle Creek, Michigan. He also chairs the NHBP Health Compliance Board, Journey to Wellness Committee, and Education Committee. He also serves as the Treasurer of the FireKeepers Local Revenue Sharing Board.
Formerly, Mr. Stuck was in the preventive and rehabilitative health profession; specializing in cardiac, neuromuscular, and rehabilitative fitness. His past employment history of caring for people’s well-being provides a critical skill set that has served him well in polling, participating, and implementing the wishes and directives set by the Tribal Community.
Mr. Stuck resides in Michigan with his wife and two children and enjoys family, music and contributing to the advancement of the NHBP Tribe.
