WDC formed the Federal Division to facilitate the broader goal of entering into federal contracting and obtaining the Small Business Administration’s (SBA) 8(a) Business Development Program certification, in order to be able to successfully compete in federal contracting as a small, disadvantaged, minority business. Today, the Federal Division of WDC consists of six entities, three of which are 8(a) certified, that provide a range of technical and professional services to the U.S. Government, including business consulting, facilities support services, financial management, construction management, research & development, environmental services, and manufacturing.
