Mason Nichols – Marketing and Communications Manager

Mason Nichols is Waséyabek’s Marketing and Communications Manager. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Grand Valley State University and a Master of Arts in Mass Communication from Purdue University. Mason has more than 15 years of marketing and communications (MarCom) experience across a variety of roles and industries, including in education, real estate, property management, and construction.

In his role at Waséyabek, Mason spearheads an expansive range of MarCom initiatives, including brand awareness and promotion, content generation, website development, social media, and public relations. He also works closely with leadership across Waséyabek’s portfolio of companies to ensure a consistent messaging and marketing approach is leveraged, ultimately leading to growth and revenue generation.

Prior to his role at Waséyabek, Mason directed strategic outreach efforts for a national non-profit association, where he served as the managing editor for the organization’s magazines. He also drove brand recognition for the property management division of West Michigan’s largest construction contractor, leading to consistent, year-over-year growth for the firm.

Outside of work, Mason enjoys spending as much time as he can with his wife, son, and daughter – particularly on warm, sunny days with a beach nearby. He’s also an avid music-lover who enjoys playing guitar and piano.
