Clayton Vanderpool

clay-vanderpoolMr. Vanderpool has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Western Michigan University and a master’s degree in business administration, with a concentration in finance, from Wayne State University.

Mr. Vanderpool joined the WDC Board of Directors in July 2016. In his career outside of WDC, Mr. Vanderpool is a Vice President in PNC’s Native American Gaming division.  His current responsibilities include originating and structuring loan transactions as well as lead Relationship Manager for his Native American customers’ transactions with PNC’s Corporate Bank.

Mr. Vanderpool joined PNC’s Native American Gaming division five years ago.  Prior to his time with PNC he spent two years as a Vice President and Loan Officer in Comerica Bank’s Large Corporate division working with Fortune 500 companies in the southeast United States and 5 years as an Assistant Vice President and Loan Officer in Comerica Bank’s Middle Market division covering customers in southeast Michigan.  Mr. Vanderpool was recently named to Global Gaming Business Magazine’s inaugural 40 under 40 list of Emerging Leaders in the Gaming Industry.

Outside of work Mr. Vanderpool spends as much time as possible outdoors with his wife of 10 years and their two children.  They are a family of avid boaters, hikers, golfers and runners.
